Suez Canal insurance company (S.A-E) has been
established on ldlO.1979 according to the law
no.159/1981 and supervision law no, 10/1981
and its implementing rule ,
The company , according to its establishment
and the given license from the Egyptian Insurance Authority, is assigned to practise all insurance
and reinsurance activities in Fire/ Marine/ Miscellaneous Motors /Engineering and Healthcare
in addition to personel insurance and funds through its headquarter located at Giza and 29 branches.
The invested funds recorded to be 260 million
EGP on 30,6,2000 against 230 million EGP for last year with an increase of EGP 30
million EGP and an increase ratio of 13% .

The net profit for the fiscal year
1999/2000 recorded to be 11253312 EGP aganist 9466933 EGP on 1998/1999
with an increase of 1786379 EGP (Ie.18,9%)- Stock equity share from the
shareholders equities is 3,28 EGP (i.e. 33%) aganist 2,8 EGP on 98/99
